Like one of his regular clients, Dallas Smith, Joey Moi has transitioned from Canadian post-grunge figurehead to Nashville fixture. That stylistic fluidity has made the former Nickelback producer the perfect foil to guide the likes of Florida Georgia Lane and HARDY over the borders separating country, classic rock, and rap. As Moi tells Apple Music, his job is to let artists “develop their own unique sound that allows them to occupy their own piece of real estate.”
