The Allmans are gods to both Southern rockers and jam bands. Widespread Panic import some jazz runs from Eat a Peach for their swampy “Party at Your Mama's House,” and Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule nails Gregg Allman's rasp on the blues-fried “Rocking Horse.” The Black Crowes deserve props for the pedal steel woven into the lazily swaying “Wiser Time,” which looks to the Allmans' roots-rock sound after Duane's death.
