The German producer Marco Niemerski grew up listening to synth-pop and early house music, so it's no surprise that his work as Tensnake is steeped in the sounds of the '80s and '90s. He's a playful, innovative remixer, combining infectious hooks with irresistible beats in his reworks of underground producers like Toby Tobias as well as pop and indie dance heroes like Junior Boys and Pet Shop Boys.
