The music of Florence K is both musically relaxed and stylistically restless. Since debuting in 2005, the Quebec singer has applied her velveteen voice to bouncy bossa nova rhythms and cool Havana grooves. But while she sings primarily in French, Florence has also courted anglo audiences through folk-rock crossovers (2013's Sheryl Crow-styled single “You're Breaking My Heart [Mi Droga]”), duets with jazz crooner Matt Dusk and flamenco fingerpicker Jesse Cook, and Cuban-tinged covers of Christmas standards.
