Active since 2012, DVBBS—Orangeville, Ontario brothers Christopher and Alexandre van den Hoef—scored a scene-defining hit with 2013’s “Tsunami,” a collaboration with Miami’s Borgeous that tore through big-room dance floors with all the fury of a tropical storm. In the years since, DVBBS (pronounced “dubs”) have evolved into a truly dynamic duo, as capable of producing divinely chilled tropical pop (“Not Going Home,” with CMC$ and Gia Koka) and slinky future funk (“West Coast,” featuring Quinn XCII) as they are main-stage ragers like the barnstorming “Fool For Ya.”
