Chrysalis Records: Progressive and Songwriter Rock

Chrysalis Records began as one of the UK's premier progressive labels, signing major acts like Jethro Tull and Procol Harum. Soon, their stable expanded to include folk outfit Steeleye Span, hard-rock titans Ian Hunter and UFO, pop stars Nick Gilder and Leo Sayer, and a peculiar young New Zealand band called Split Enz. All shared the unique creative spirit that the label nurtured.
