His crushed trap kits and ethereal vocal effects invest Lil Tecca tracks like “Faster” with both a sense of drive and blurry atmosphere. Census proved himself unafraid of going out on a limb stylistically with Anuel AA’s reggaeton track “23 Preguntas,” but his imprimatur may be clearest on his lush, harmonically rich beats for emo-influenced singer/rapper Dro Kenji.
