Neil Bogart's Casablanca Records was the epicenter of disco and dance-funk in the '70s, thanks to hit singles by Donna Summer, Village People, Lipps Inc., and other body-moving hitmakers. The label's reputation allowed them to woo acts like Parliament and Cher and support up-and-comers and minor players like Cameo, Cerrone, and the Skatt Brothers, all of whom are represented here.
