The popularity of AMC's Mad Men reignited nostalgia for an early-'60s era when guys wore suits for leisure, cigarette smoke doubled as oxygen, and the martinis were bottomless. But well before this recent retro resurgence, Canada was keeping the jive alive through the big-band bomp of Michael Bublé and sultry jazz-bar serenades of Diana Krall.
