In Italy’s musical landscape, the worlds of rap and singer-songwriter pop walk hand in hand, and few have a tighter grip than Bresh. Born in Genoa, the rapper aka Andrea Brasi cut his teeth at Studio Ostile, where he learnt the value of collaboration and found his place in the Drilliguria collective. His hometown remains an important songwriting focus and he even dedicated the widely popular “Guasto D’Amore” to his beloved Rossoblù. A similar folksy charm can be found on “Altamente Mia”, while acoustic guitars are bolstered by plosive flows and deep-hitting 808s on “Andrea” and “PARA’”.
