After leaving his native Georgia for Nashville in 2008, singer/songwriter Brent Cobb made his first major musical inroads writing for country stars like Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, and Miranda Lambert. With the help of his cousin, hotshot producer Dave Cobb, he eventually made his name as a solo artist. His old-school sound mixes honky-tonk, outlaw-country, and folk-rock influences with dashes of R&B and gospel for an earthy, deep-roots feel that is full of country soul.
