Seven-member Korean hip-hop group Block B—short for blockbuster and reminiscent of New Kids on the Block—deliver bouncing tag-team rap and heartfelt balladry in equal measure. Created as a boy group in 2011, Block B are an energetic bunch who aren't afraid to try out sounds rarely found in Korean rap, from fuzzy guitar rock (“Very Good”) to surging dance tracks (“Wanna B”). Most of Block B's songs are built to get the dance floor moving, but they get tender and sweet on midtempo cuts highlighting their singing (“Be the Light”).
