From there rose the youthful power of the Sex Pistols, the mod-ish, working-class jams of The Jam, the pin-up pop-punk of Billy Idol's Generation X, the droning psychedelia of Subway Sect, the righteous dub of The Slits, the hooligan stomp of Sham 69, and so much more.
