Snappy verses and dusty beats defined the music of indie hip-hop imprint Soul Company, one of Korea's most influential. Founded in the early ‘00s, the label jumped off thanks to hungry rappers such as founding artists The Quiett and Kebee, swift spitters who rapped over jazzy beats sourced from samples. Before dissolving in 2011, Soul Company fostered many memorable songs in this style—and shaped the next generation.
