Best of Okeh: Country
Apple Music
Founded in 1918, the Okeh label was a groundbreaker for early jazz, blues, and ethnic music. It was also one of the first to record country and western, releasing classic singles by Bob Wills, Gene Autry, Roy Acuff, and others who were at first ignored by the bigger imprints. Many of these records were made "on location" instead of in a studio, catching these greats in their natural settings.
