Best of '60s Country

Nashville wasn't immune to the culture clash that emerged in the U.S. in the '60s. On one side of the divide were genteel, "countrypolitan" stars like Jim Reeves. On the other was Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash, laying the groundwork for outlaw country. But anyone with ears knew that soaking up '60s country hits from all across the spectrum was a win-win proposition.
