Thanks to his boisterous guitar riffs and sinuous Eastern vibes, Berry Sakharof has proven to be a dependable force in Israeli rock since the '80s. Yet he hardly stays in one spot. Interspersing solo efforts with the moody soundscapes of Minimal Compact (now well known in the European underground), along with collaborations with Israeli punk pioneer Rami Fortis, Sakharof has consistently delivered with both his songwriting and electric guitar work. Albums like Signs of Weakness and Touches established Sakharof as the prince of Israeli rock in the '90s, but his music continues to evolve.
