Bad Religion Essentials

Bad Religion Essentials

Roaring out of Southern California in the late '70s, Bad Religion added massive hooks and singalong harmonies to the stripped-down sound of hardcore punk, inspiring hundreds of bands over the decades that followed. As the godfathers of melodic hardcore, the group are known for their breakneck songs packed with killer riffs, but unlike many of their skate punk peers, they've always had a furious political edge to their lyrics. Despite a handful of hiatuses over their long and prolific run, Bad Religion remain one of the best-selling punk bands of all time.
