About Yhung T.O.

Yhung T.O. made his name with half-rapped, half-sung vocals as a member of the influential Bay Area hip-hop group SOB X RBE. • SOB X RBE formed in 2016 from two separate groups. T.O. was originally a member of RBE (Real Boi Entertainment), which he started in the fifth or sixth grade. • T.O. and DaBoii recorded their first music by rapping into an iPhone and putting it over beats using a Playstation console. • SOB X RBE got a big look in 2018, when Kendrick Lamar tapped them to contribute the song “Paramedic!” to Black Panther: The Album. • Also in 2018—the same year SOB X RBE released two albums—Yhung T.O. signed with Interscope and dropped the solo project Trust Issues. • In 2020, T.O. and DaBoii dropped the joint project Demon and Mufasa. Later that year, after years of breakup rumors, SOB X RBE seemed to split up for good. T.O. continued on with RBE.
