About Wade Forster

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up listening to music travelling to and from Rodeos in Australia. I found love in the poetry of music but did not start even playing an instrument until I was 19. I taught myself online while working as an apprentice refrigeration technician. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brooks & Dunn, If You See Her Cody Johnson, Ain't Nothin' to It Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe) I have loved the use of certain words in songs to make a connection with the listener regardless of any genre. I was heavily inspired by the likes of Cody Johnson and Brooks and Dunn in country but loved the word choice and rhythm of Kendrick Lamar. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fighting Tears” This song to me is a huge mental health awareness ballad and I am a huge advocate for getting the help needed. This song is a true story of a girl I knew and her battles with addiction and depression. It resonates with people who have had hard times. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment I have so far is being a part of the Luke Combs Australia Tour after competing at a rodeo in Australia with Cody Johnson. I got to perform on stage "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys" with Cody at Melbourne. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to show the world that real cowboys exist outside of the United States of America. I was raised a Rodeo Cowboy in Australia and would love to be a Rodeo Cowboy Country Artist all over the world to prove that anyone can be a cowboy.
