In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Writing music and liking girls happened simultaneously. My songs were about longing for and unreciprocated love. Looking back, they were adolescent, but I took performing them seriously. Father John Misty, Fear Fun Nirvana, In Utero (20th Anniversary Edition) The Beatles, Revolver My all-time favorites are crowned solely to the credit of the songwriting. Tell us why you chose this song. “Forgive Me (Hide and Seek)” To me, this song is about maintaining self worth during introspection. Whether our time hasn't come, or we're f**ked up, we need to be humble with where we're at and hope that forgiveness is near when we need it...a message relatable to all. -jamaal What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Selling out one of our favorite venues in Atlanta one night, followed by not a soul coming to a show in Birmingham the next night. The epitome of the height and depths of emotions as touring musicians. -stephen Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Our bucket is full. But we all feel that playing Red Rocks will be monumental. Of course making records better than the last is always something we will strive for. -kristian
