About Under The Streetlamp

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We were born from the Chicago production of Jersey Boys. We started playing shows late at night after that show in clubs around the city to celebrate more of the artists we love. We bonded with the audience in a way that still propels us today. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Sherry & 11 Others Paul Simon, Graceland The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds These albums brought brand-new sounds to popular music and help inspire us to do what we do. The vocals alone are groudbreaking, but they also contain great songwriting and stories that are universal. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “What Christmas Means to Me” The production of this song was an especially exciting collaboration. With the expertise of keyboardist Eric Levy, we were able to create analogue Moog sounds that are one of a kind. The half-time nod to "Sir Duke" was brought to life by Josh Rzepka. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra for 3 sold-out performances with world-renowned conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez. Normally, we play one or two shows with an orchestra so it was amazing to get to settle in with him and them. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We have played the whole continental US. We want to check Hawaii and Alaska off the list!
