In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young child, I used to play the piano for my grandmother. She had an old brown piano, badly tuned. She always asked to play a song, claiming I'll win the Queen Elisabeth Competition once. I never did :-) but the joy of piano playing was born. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Tom Waits, Closing Time (Remastered) Yann Tiersen, Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (Bande originale du film) I'm a big fan of Tom Waits. He is such a great songwriter, composer and entertainer. "Closing time" is my favourite albums where the piano plays a crucial role. Also Yann Tiersen influenced my musical style by this georgeous album. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Un sourire et une larme (valse)” The song means "A tear and a smile". Especially the midpart is expressing what the song is about: life is so fragile and can change completely just in a moment. A laugh becomes a tear. Or the other way around. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I reached 1 million streams on streaming platforms, I was so delighted. In while I reached more than 20 million. But most touching are the reactions I receive from fans and listeners. Glad to see how music can touch people!
