Thunderclap!

About Thunderclap!

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Before my outing as a solo musician, I played in a bunch of psychedelic, space-rock bands throughout Niagara, and have played consistently in bands since I was 13. Those early acts were messy and ridiculous, but we put on some damn memorable shows! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Be Resurrected Tonight” Be Resurrected Tonight is a single off my upcoming album, "Strange Songs for Strange Times". It tells the story of an iconic figure from my home here in Niagara. The late artist Hugh McDonald. It was wonderful to pay tribute to an amazing friend. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2016 while playing at the Traverse City Film Festival I had the opportunity to open for the great Tony Robbins, one of my personal heroes. It was an electrifying experience! And heck, what a nice guy. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list is infinite and will hopefully stay that way. Growth as a musician, artist and performer is my favourite part of this whole journey. I would love to write a song for a popular artist one day, and become better known as a songwriter.
