About The Overtones

Influenced by the likes of the Ink Spots, the Drifters, and Michael Bublé, English vocal harmony group the Overtones formed their own home decor firm in 2009 in order to rehearse their sound while working. After a talent scout overheard them singing, he invited them to audition for Warner Music executives, where the quintet impressed the record company enough to earn a five-album deal. Their debut album, Good Ol' Fashioned Love, a mixture of '50s and '60s nostalgia pop classics and self-penned tunes, was released in 2010. It was followed by 2012's Higher, 2013's Saturday Night at the Movies, and 2015's Sweet Soul Music, all of which joined the debut in reaching the U.K. Top Ten. Good Ol' Fashioned Christmas arrived later in 2015. ~ Jon O'Brien
