I Monaci di Norcia, anglicized to the Monks of Norcia, are members of the Order of St. Benedict at the Monastery of San Benedict in Norcia, Italy. Practicing intonation as part of daily services, the group recorded an album of Gregorian chants in 2015 with Grammy-winning engineer Jonathan Stokes and Grammy-winning producer Christopher Alder. The 33-track Benedicta: Marian Chant from Norcia includes many traditional favorites as well as an original composition by the monks, "Nos Qui Christi Iugum." The album topped the Billboard classical chart and appeared on the Billboard 200. ~ Marcy Donelson
