In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember getting on a bus and going to a record store to buy my first record. I was about 13. I wanted to buy a Rush record. It was a tough decision, so I decided to purchase Exit Stage Left so I could get a mix of their music as an introduction. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Blue Rodeo, Five Days In July Feist, The Reminder Rush, Caress of Steel Remastered These three records are great examples of Canadian songwriters and the diverse musical talent this country is full of. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stopped Being in Love” Stopped Being in Love has a really catchy chorus, and it was written first and the rest of the song after to support it. We recorded it with Dean Marino in Toronto. It just sounds great and has a really dark, spooky feel to it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of our most memorable moments was the cover of the classic Duran Duran song Hungry Like the Wolf. The song and lighthearted video got us noticed, and the video became the Sports Illustrated video of the day, garnering over 13,000 plays.
