In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my first musical memories was of attending a family reunion as a young girl, and watching my Dad's family perform on a stage. I remember wanting to be up there. My paternal grandmother was a talented singer who sounded much like Patsy Cline. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Elton John, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road 2014 Remaster The Tragically Hip, Up To Here International Version Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers: Greatest Hits It's impossible to choose only 3 favourite albums of all-time, but these albums are exceptional examples of the magic that can happen when brilliant artists decide to open their souls and welcome collaboration This is my ultimate musical dream. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Preachin' Blues” This was the first song I recorded after setting out on my own. Even though it's a cover of a powerful Larkin Poe arrangement of a Son House song, it spoke to me in so many ways at that point in time. It gave me confidence to record my own music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Publishing my first original song. After writing lyrics for years, it was so freeing and empowering to dedicate time to set my words to music, collaborate with others, and get these songs mastered and distributed. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely! The cat's out of the bag. I'm just getting started.
