About Susanne Lautenbacher

Suzanne Lautenbacher was a pioneer interpreter of Baroque violin music. Although she played a modern violin, her 1962 recording of Biber's Mystery Sonatas remains a "classic", and helped to spur on the trend towards period performance. Lautenbacher's recordings may be found on Vox.
