In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Our family purchased our first phonograph/record player when I was six years old. I used to lay on the living room floor and play that record over and over for hours, dreaming of what it would be like to play the guitar like he did. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eagles, The Very Best of Eagles Gordon Lightfoot, Gord's Gold James Taylor, Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 (Remastered) They write terrific ballads with great guitar work. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Despacito (Instrumental)” There are several tracks of different guitars covering different parts of the song, and the accumulation of those tracks sound incredible. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I conducted a 215 voice choir on the Perelman Stage in Stern Auditorium at Carnegie, while also leading a rock band and strings section. It's pretty amazing to perform on the same stage as The Beatles, Liza Minnelli, Frank Sinatra and James Taylor! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to someday play guitar with James Taylor, Paul Simon and/or Gordon Lightfoot. I'd also love to conduct at the Sydney Opera House in Australia.
