Stepsonday's sunny, guitar-filled pop songs are crafted by siblings Jason and Chad Turner. The brothers were born and raised in Santa Monica, CA, where they developed a soft spot for records by the Beatles, Nada Surf, and Death Cab for Cutie. With Chad handling drums and Jason alternating between guitar and bass, the two formed a pop/rock duo and entered the studio to record a self-financed debut. The resulting Little Light LP caught the attention of One Eleven Records' owner, Brad Fischetti, and Stepsonday was soon signed to the label. An expanded release of Little Light was then planned for March 2008. ~ Andrew Leahey
