In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Grandfather playing a medley of Christmas songs on the organ. I remember how he made the songs come to life and how I wanted to be like him. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Goldmund, Occasus Zach Sprowls, All Beginnings Are Hard - Single Ólafur Arnalds, Living Room Songs The first album was where it all started for me, my first real project under my own name. The second two I still listen to on occasion and am still deeply affected by. Probably no other albums have more influenced the music I make than those two. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Here Now” This song is both haunting and beautiful, dissonant and melodic. I think that juxtaposition of seeming opposites is a good representation of me. I can be both happy and sad, free and bound up. I aim for the light, but darkness often wins out in me.
