In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 3, I upstaged my brother at a holiday concert - My brother (5) was to sing solo. But I knew the song! So, I ran around to the back stage and when the curtains rose, we belted out the tune together - my first singing performance. Tell us why you chose this song. “Little Star” This song lets kids know that each one of them is special with a little star shining on each child. It's a soothing lullaby for quiet time or bedtime that tells children everything will be all right. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was nominated for 2 Juno awards in Canada for Best Children's Album! Pretty exciting. My husband and kids attended the awards evening with me. They were thrilled! I performed for hundreds of thousands of kids across Canada.
