About Rio Febrian
Rio Febrian’s warm timbre and soulful cadence first caught the attention of Indonesian audiences on singing competition Asia Bagus. Following his win in 1999, Rio appeared a year later with his self-titled debut, and became an immediate big seller thanks to a stream of sweeping piano ballads—most notably the soul-stirring “Bukan Untukku”. Rio’s sound took a more guitar-based turn halfway into the decade, as showcased by 2006’s “Jenuh” and 2008’s “Aku Bertahan”. He has also recorded a number of duets with Christian pop stars such as Edo Kondologit and the late Glenn Fredly.
