Formed in 2014 in New York City, Prelow is the laid-back electro-pop duo of Jesse Aicher and Matt Walsh, songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalists who met as students at NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. One of the earliest songs from their partnership, "Mistakes Like This," became a streaming hit after its release in mid-2014. They signed with Atlantic Records, and their debut EP, Why Does Everything Happen So Much, arrived in early 2015. Taking time to write and record original material for their label, the duo returned in early 2017 with the singles "Guitar Beat" and "I Don't Wanna End the Night." ~ Marcy Donelson
