About Paulie Rhyme

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up singing in the church, but when Hip Hop came out I started to break dance. That evolved into more singing in high school and djing in college. My uncle encouraged me to make a demo and from there I started to work on my first project. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Organized Konfusion, The Best of Organized Konfusion Bonus Track Version Switch, 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Switch Wu-Tang Clan, Wu-Tang Forever These artists inspired me to be more of an individual and play on my strengths as an artist. Speaking from my experience and being creative beyond just the regular format and subject matter. Their songs stand the test of time because of this. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Higher (feat. Maco & Moto)” I wrote this as a ode to overcoming adversity in the modern sense, and finding some hope and joy in where you are. My goal was to say that even though times can get rough, there is always a reason for us to look up and reach higher. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Touring. I was able to go to 40 states, rock Asia, and Canada. Hitting top 10 on college radio was big for me. Having a song featured on Queen Sugar was pretty cool. Collabing with some amazing artists and heroes along the way. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to produce a project from start to finish. Do the production, write the songs, everything. I would also like to work with new artists and tour as a dj. Another live band project would be dope before I am done as well.
