In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember writing my first hit song when I was 15 and going to record it at reggae superstar Sugar Minot Studios in Kingston, Jamaica. That's where I learned how to sing and hold notes. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Legend – The Best of Bob Marley & The Wailers Drake, Views Monie Gad, God Knows Everything My #1 pick is more of an upbeat, high vibration mood; it gives me the energy I need to start my day and finish it with a smile. My #2 is more of a low-key mood, chilling with the bros, and my #3 is more of a spiritual vibe and meditation. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Healing” I choose healing because no matter how strong you are, at some point in your life you will need healing. It's just a reminder to never lose hope even when your back is against the ropes; all you need is the right one to help you cope. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first live show in Canada was on rise2. 2021. It was a very high-energy performance before I took the stage; everyone walked by me without saying hi, but after I blessed the stage, everyone lined up to shake my hand and take pictures. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to headline rolling, loud summer jams at Ovo Fest in the near future; that's on the top of my bucket list.
