About Midnight Prophet
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first performance, when I was around 6, doing a solo rendition of "The Drummer Boy". I was super nervous and so I remember turning my back to the audience. However, I still belted my heart out and got a standing ovation. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, A Rush of Blood to the Head Radiohead, OK Computer Deluxe Version The Tea Party, Transmission These albums really shaped my love of soundscape, along with lyrical imagery and heartfelt delivery that formed the basis for my songwriting. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “A Cry in the Dark” This was the first song I ever wrote, and it pulled on my many years of bullying/abuse that happened during my formative years. I wanted to convey the darkness, and loneliness, to let people know they are not alone. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having the chance to work with some amazing session musicians, while putting together my latest album. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I haven't yet had the chance to go out on a tour, one day I hope to see the fans in person
