In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about 4 years old I was in swimming lessons and I heard the song My Girl for the first time over the pool speakers. It's the first song I remember really falling in love with and I couldn't wait to hear it again every week. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gavin DeGraw, Chariot John Mayer, Born and Raised The Beatles, Rubber Soul Listening to any of these albums makes me feel like a weight has been lifted. I can get swept up in them no matter how many times I've heard them. They're my musical comfort zones. Disclaimer: it's impossible to pick just 1 Beatles album!! Tell us why you chose this song. “Something Gained” Something Gained was born when I woke up from a dream with the lyric “Don’t come back now that you’re gone” in my head. I'd recently started therapy and was working on letting go of old emotional baggage. Writing this song was part of the process. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I co-wrote Avril Lavigne's single "Tell Me It's Over" which is still completely mind-blowing. I grew up hearing her on the radio and being a fellow Canadians gives me an even greater sense of pride!
