Magnolia Electric Co.

About Magnolia Electric Co.

The seventh album by singer-songwriter Jason Molina's project Songs: Ohia was 2003's THE MAGNOLIA ELECTRIC CO. Following that release, Molina retired the Songs: Ohia banner and began recording under the name Magnolia Electric Co. The first release by Molina's new incarnation was 2005's TRIALS AND ERRORS, a live album recorded in Brussels in 2003. Their studio debut was 2005's WHAT COMES AFTER THE BLUES, followed by 2006's FADING TRAILS, and a lavishly packaged 2007 four-CD box set called SOJOURNER that featured Molina recording in four different cities with four different sets of collaborators.
