About Lost Dogs

Formed in the early '90s as a union of four other groups, the Lost Dogs released its debut album, Scenic Routes, in 1992. Mixing a style which was applauded by fans of alternative country as well as Christian music, the group maintained a low but growing profile. The group's third album, entitled The Green Room Serenade, Vol. One, seemed to be a breakthrough album. A wider range of genres continued to flourish through the music when, after the 1999 release of Gift Horse, guitarist and vocalist Gene Eugene passed away at the Green Room, the band's recording studio. In 2001, the group continued as a trio, releasing Real Men Cry on BEC Recordings. Nazarene Crying Towel follwed in April 2003 on the BEC imprint ~ Jason MacNeil
