Lost Balloons

The seeds of power poppy punk duo Lost Balloons were sown in Japan in 2011 when Yusuke Okada of the band Suspicious Beasts asked Jeff Burke of the Marked Men to help him out with recording a song. The duo ended up working on a few songs together and decided to form a band. Working out of Burke's studio in Texas, they shared songwriting and singing duties on their first album, a self-titled set of energetic power pop tunes released by the German label Alien Snatch! By this time, each of them had new bands, but their musical bond was strong enough that they continued making music together. Their second album, Hey Summer, was released in June of 2017. ~ Tim Sendra
