Los Pleneros de la Cresta was born at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus; united by the passion and responsibility to preserve and promote Puerto Rican culture. Carlos Vives] - Single Favorite albums are: “Maferetún la Rumba” (2019) by Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, “Clásicos de la Provincia” (1993) by Carlos Vives, and Juan Luis Guerra and 4:40. Christian Nieves Maldonado)” “Rayo de Sol” is special because it carries a message of love and affection which can be dedicated to any special person in life. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments of our career was completing two record productions: “Mucho Gusto Soy de la Isla” in 2015 and “Puerto Rico Vive” in 2019. These albums represent our commitment to the music and culture of Puerto Rico. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As a group, we will continue to contribute to increase the visibility of the Puerto Rican plena to demonstrate the versatility of our folkloric genre around the world.
