In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I discovered GarageBand on my family computer at age 11 & began experimenting w/music production. I loved seeing how my fav songs came to life. I would listen & recreate the instrumentals. I tried Roar by Katy Perry, got Logic Pro X & was hooked What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carly Rae Jepsen, E•MO•TION Dagny, Strangers / Lovers Katy Perry, Teenage Dream These 3 albums embody the pure pop escapist bliss that has comforted me & brought me joy since a young age. Emotion specifically has always been important and influential to me, from its lyricism to sonic textures. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Don't Call Me At A Party” This song is so special to because it was my 1st - it gave me the confidence to start performing. I love how angry & inspired I was in the moment of making it, as it's based on a true story. It’s an anthemic adrenaline rush & I'm super proud of it! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think my most memorable moment was the first show I ever played with a band this past fall. The live band really took my show to the next level. Also so many more people showed up than I expected, so it felt like a superstar in that moment! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My life long dream is to write a huge pop hit, whether its me performing, or another artist, and hear it in a gay club while a drag queen performs a number to it and the whole place is going absolutely insane. I’ll die happy when that happens.
