Las Rosas are a lo-fi garage-psych trio formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2013 by guitarist Jose Boyer, bassist Jose Aybar, and drummer Christopher Lauderdale. Boyer had previously found success as a member of Matador act Harlem while also playing in the band Daytona with Lauderdale. Aybar, meanwhile, played in the Brooklyn cult band Wilk Yaks. Together they pooled their previous bands' best attributes with a blend of hooky garage pop and doses of grimy psych noise. Las Rosas eventually found a home with Brooklyn indie Ernest Jenning Record Co. and released their debut full-length, Everyone Gets Exactly What They Want, in March 2017. ~ Timothy Monger
