About La Sécurité

Montreal's La Sécurité specialize in a spiky, dance-hearty post-punk that integrates experimentalism (off-kilter arrangements, atypical chord progressions, dissonance) without clearing the dance pit. Their 2023 debut album, Stay Safe!, was followed by Bingo!, their Bella Union debut, in 2026. Both albums employed ribbon microphones, vintage compressors, and improvisation.
