I went in to the room with my new teacher and he showed me my first chords - and it hit! It hit me hard! Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Derek & The Dominos, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (Deluxe Edition) The Tragically Hip, Road Apples U2, The Joshua Tree Remastered These albums contain stories - stories of life and love and hurt and joy. The things that make us all human. These albums are visceral and connect with me at a molecular level. I feel them as much as I hear them. I wish I could write songs this good.
