In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Grandparents had a battered old upright piano in their front room. One day, whilst still preschool, I found myself sitting at it and managing to pick out a tune that was playing on the radio. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Dina Schneiderman, Vasil Stefanov, Samuel Barber: Violin Concerto, Op. 14 (Golden Classic Collection) - Single Edo de Waart, John Adams, San Francisco Symphony, Adams, John: The Chairman Dances Roberta Flack, First Take I love music of all genres, and you asking me to pick just three albums is just cruel! These three though, mean a lot to me personally and in my opinion are all pieces of absolute audio perfection. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Kensong” I wrote this for my great violin teacher, mentor and friend Ken Farmer who passed away last year at the age of 97. He was a beautiful human being and I think about him every day. I hope you're proud of me Ken X What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Finishing my debut album was something special, as was performing at Glastonbury this year, and recording at Abbey Road was exhilarating too. This year I was also commissioned to write my first score which premiered at Birmingham Symphony Hall. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Plenty! Although a professional musician all my life, my journey as a composer has only just started. I would like to make more music for ensembles and orchestras as well as score music for Film and TV.
