Playing dual roles, pop singer/songwriter Josh Bogert debuted in 2016 as both musician and actor. The Vancouver native starred as Miles on the Disney/Family Channel series Backstage, which premiered in March 2016. Together with his co-stars, Bogert performed songs including "Dig Deep," "Night Full of Stars," and "No Picnic," all of which were featured on the multi-installment Songs from Backstage releases. The same year as the Backstage debut, Bogert issued his first single, the bright, romantic pop anthem "Run 2 You," which appeared on his self-titled debut. A multi-instrumentalist from a young age -- he can play piano, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone -- he later learned to DJ and produce his own music. Putting these talents to use, he released his self-titled debut on Cardinal Point Music. With an energetic pop heartbeat combining Shawn Mendes and Troye Sivan, Josh Bogert also featured the single "Drowning in the Dark." As he continued to juggle an acting career with his music, he released the electronic-tinged single "Blink" in 2018. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
