In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Early singing started in a choir where other kids pointed out my vibrato was terrible. First 45s were Olivia Newton John "Physical" and Michael Jackson "Thriller", possibly also J. Geils Band "Centerfold" and I think I was 12. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Celeste, Not Your Muse LCD Soundsystem, Sound of Silver PJ Harvey, Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea Each of these has a unique voice but also brings me back to a particular time of change and uncertainty, apprehension and excitement. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Will Return” I Will Return is one of my least abstract and most personal songs. It came fresh during the pandemic winter in 2020. It captures a relationship in question and ties together past, present and future in a way I wish I could do more consistently.
